As the cellphone & computer have changed people in modern cities, so they have in traditional communities. Working on a project that takes time is no longer appealing, so traditional skills are being lost. My objective is for the youth to see their elders as artists with great skills and creative force. To that end, I return every year to the same families and communities, investing in their creations and providing fabric, silk threads, beads, felts, and cloth for clothing, textiles and jewelry.
